Kogarasumaru (小烏丸) is an Air Treck team in the manga and anime Air Gear by Oh! great. It was formed by Minami Itsuki and his friends to further their favourite hobby of Air Treck.

Their team ranking in the world of AT increased at a very rapid pace, giving Kogarasumaru worldwide fame. Eventually, the elite team known as Genesis is placed under the command of Kogarasumaru. Ikki terminated this 'alliance' after the betrayal of the Sora brothers. Kogarasumaru is now determined to win the Gram Scale Tournament and dominate all other teams with their strength alone. The origin of the name of this team is a famous Japanese sword. Currently, Kogarasumaru has three Kings. They are currently ranked B-Class.

Known as Ikki by his friends, he lives with a family of four sisters, the Noyamano. He is in his second year of junior high. Initially the leader of the youth gang the East Side Gunz, after the incident with Skull Saders, he gets very passionate with AT and even sets up his own AT team, Kogarasumaru (小烏丸) with his friends. Upon his entry into the realm of AT, Ikki triggers the interest of many seasoned veterans. Among them is the pink-haired Storm Rider Simca, who intends to lead our hero to what she believes is his ultimate destiny - the untouched throne of the Sky King. Ikki is currently considered the Storm King of the Hurricane Road. Backed by his friends and comrades Ikki continues pursuit of his goals as a Storm Rider. Ikki also has the nickname "Crow" because of the cartoonish crow that lives in his hair.

Known as Kazu by his friends, he is Ikki's childhood friend who picks up A-T due to Ikki's huge influence in his life. His specialty is speed, and he's able to move so quickly that he disappears entirely from view, sometimes leaving only his hat behind. He's often characterized by Oh!Great as a jet plane. As Ikki's sidekick, Kazu prefers to stay in the background and gets nervous when he's in the spotlight; he's often teased by friends and enemies alike for not having a noticeable presence. Though he's overshadowed by Ikki and others, he's gotten used to this and finds strength in being a "weak" person who refuses to give up. He shows signs of an inferiority complex when Ikki is injured and trusts Kazu with the job of Kogarasumaru's temporary leader; the team is beaten by Animal House in their very first match, which badly hurts his morale. but after his friends give him support, he strengthens his resolve and gets over his complex. Kazu is currently the new Flame King thanks to his intense speed, which creates powerful flames, the flame regalia was handed in the last few moments of Spitfire's life before being killed by the Sora brothers. He is a "Speed" type rider.

Known as Buccha to his friends and teammates, Issa Mihotoke (御仏 一茶 Mihotoke Issa?) is a level E AT user who uses his immense strength as his weapon. Before he became part of Kogarasumaru, he was the leader of the team Night Kings (夜王 Yaou?) which was broken up after Buccha lost a Parts War with Ikki. Buccha is often characterized as a tank. He attends Higachu Junior High School. He appears to be obese, but his body is only ten percent fat. His size is actually caused by a large amount of blood pooling in his gut from overeating. He also has the ability to manipulate that blood and send it to his muscles, causing him to temporarily have a slimmer, cut figure and even cause his limbs to become longer. He also has a semi-split personality similar to that of Akito/Agito. When not in a fight is simply cares for food and relaxing. But when the topic of battle comes up his other half takes hold, and he becomes a devastating killing machine. He can also dance. While he may look fierce, he is actually a friendly person. He uses brass knuckles-esque gloves in combat, which combined with his superhuman strength is truly devastating. His character design is based on the wrestler Abdullah the butcher note the three lines on his forehead, and his nickname "Buccha". He is a "Power" type rider. During chapter 185 while he's training on a waterfall, his dad throws a boulder at him from the waterfall; later on chapter 186 he seems to have complete control over his concentration and is able to catch Ton-chan while she was falling from the waterfall, but he is distracted by Ton-chan's revealing swimsuit that she later takes off in front of Buccha.

One of Ikki's childhood friends, Onigiri (オニギリ?) is also part of Kogarasumaru. His head is in the shape of an onigiri (hence the name). Onigiri is a pervert and characterized as a pig. He has an unusual way of using his perspiration, usually during overall perverted moments, to create illusions. He also has a strange way of using his AT by sitting upside down on it (to the chagrin of his female schoolmates whose skirts he tends to look up while doing this). This way of riding proved to be very dangerous, for both Onigiri and his opponent, as he flails his legs back and forth (doing damage if he's close enough), but can also fall off, landing directly on the point of his head and streaking on the ground until he stops (this, however, is never shown, only an image of an actual onigiri in said position).
He is in the same class as Ikki, and follows the "Smell Road." (the authenticity of this road is arguable, since one can't really tell if this was just another one of Oh!Great's jokes. However stated by Akito/Agito in Kyoto, there are "hundreds" of roads. But out of those only 8 roads can be called Road of King.) He can also go as fast (or possibly faster) for short spurts than Ringo, when the right motivation is present. At chapter 171 Onigiri is seen training with his friends in order to get stronger than before, most of his techniques have the ability to affect the enemy's senses, create illusions. On many chapters he's characterized as an upside down buddha with supernatural powers. During the fight between Kogarasumaru and White Wolf Clan he complains about his role as a minor character and how he doesn't get enough action. Recently, he's been seen with Nobunaga watching the girls on the beach .

He is an innocent, cute and cheerful boy who has a double personality. When the eye patch is covering the right eye, he is in dominance of the body. Ironically, Akito was the original Fang King. He enjoyed riding Air Treks for fun but realized his brother Kaito was only using him for violent purposes to further the Wind SWAT team's agenda. After his realization, Kaito began forcing Akito to do his bidding by taking away his freedom. In desperation, Akito created a violent alter ego, Agito, to ride for him and take his place in the Wind SWAT team. Since Agito took over for him, Akito has become mediocre at riding Air Treks (though he has been shown to still be able to ride well enough to use a Fang on Ikki's Tuner). Ikki eventually shows him the meaning of freedom by telling him the story of a frog that yearned for the sky. Moved, Akito kisses Ikki and develops a crush on him. Ikki 'rescues' Akito, and even though reluctant at first, let him stay at his house. Akito now lives with Ikki and the Noyamano sisters, and attends Higashi Junior High School. He then becomes one of the five founding members of Kogarasumaru. Up until now, Akito is the first person Ikki has kissed. He apparently likes to cross-dress, to the chagrin of Agito. Akito has been said to be the link-tuner for his alter ego Agito.

He is Akito's dark half. When the eye patch is covering the left eye, he is in dominance of the body. Because of his violent and bloodthirsty behavior, he is often characterized as a shark. He uses the four hooks dangling from the straps on his legs to battle and tear other ATers apart. After Akito is 'rescued' by Ikki, Agito becomes an unwilling member of Kogarasumaru. Agito is a Class A AT user and also the current Fang King, making him one of the most valuable members of Kogarasumaru. Out of the group, Agito has the most knowledge about the world of Air Trek in general. Even though he has a rude and arrogant attitude towards his teammates, he respects them as comrades but still keeps up his behavior. He cares deeply for Akito and his only desire is to protect him. It should also be noted that, if the eye patch is taken off, Agito can still be in control but gains much more power with the help of Akito.

Lindo Wanijima is the newly (after chapter 190 of the manga) roused personality of Akito and the self-proclaimed "Original" personality. He calls Akito and Agito "babies" because they're both less mature than he is. Lindo's first appearance was during a fight against Orca, but soon after during their underwater bout he was sealed away again by Agito, who then was able to use his own Infinity Atmosphere, Blood Blade Fang.

Agito reclaimed the body and so is presumably the strongest of the three, but he fears that one day Lindo might take over again. He asked Ikki to defeat Lindo if that ever happened, even if it meant hurting Akito and Agito as well.

Along with Nakama Yayoi, Emily Adachi (安達 絵美理 Adachi Emiri?) is part of the track team and used to look down on Ikki and his friends. However, after the incident between Ikki and Buccha, she has come to admire them. She and Yayoi are also the first to admonish them whenever they come up with something stupid (which is rather often). She has a big crush on Kazu (who she refers to as Kazu-sama).
She eventually joins the Kogarasumaru and acts as back-up. Even though her Air Treck skills aren't all that great, she seems to at times be able to summon up super strength and endurance, like taking hits from powerful storm riders brushing the hits off easily to her super powerful kicks and wrestling moves, through her pure strength of will and "The Power of Love". She is so strong that she succeded in avoiding to be hit by Gabishi's horn by tackling down, which made him ask to himself if she was really a girl. Currently she is an official member of Kogarasumaru, among other times during the fight with White Wolf Clan she temporarily replaced Buccha after he was beaten by an old man with a cybernetic armor. While fighting, Emily and the others decided to win by beating the other team to a pulp. Currently she doesn't have a Road. Some fans actually think that her road can be called GUTS ROAD, something she may think of it not to be a compliment for a girl, as she said to Aeon when he talks to her about her strength.

Emily's friend and part of the track team, Yayoi Nakayama (中山 弥生 Nakayama Yayoi?), used to look down on Ikki and his team, but now is a big fan. Nakayama has the ability to communicate with Ikki's crow and to tell the exact time, down to a second - a trait that is shared among prospective tuners of Tool Toul To. Yayoi often talks with Emily about how she's not as supportive or as attractive as most girls. She later reveals that she has a crush on Agito; for whom she supports when he is weakened. Just recently, Yayoi was attacked by Orca's Exploding Fang technique, but Agito (despite his state) managed to protect her. Later when Lind and Nakayama are submerged under water Orca increases the water pressure choking them, Yayoi gives Lind/Agito the last of her breath and she sinks to the depths. Agito ends up saving her after the battle is over.

[edit] Nobunaga

Nobunaga acted as a temporary substitute during Kogarasumaru's rise to B class to enter the Gram Scale. A fan of Kogarasumaru and Ikki since it's Parts War with Team Behemoth, and is also a freshman at Ikki's school. Acted as a temporary member of Kogarasumaru despite never riding AT's before and only buying a pair right before his first Parts War, he only participated in one Parts War (which he lost) and only acted as a place holder on the team while Ikki and Agito were still recovering in the hospital.
