• Kneale was an important and prolific screenwriter in British television, responsible for many ground-breaking drama programmes and popular culture moments, and thus an important biographical subject worthy of illustration.
• As a writer rather than an actor or performer, it is much more difficult to find free use images of him.
• The image is of a lower resolution than the original, as required by Wikipedia guidelines.
• The image is used for informational purposes only, and not believed to detract from the original in any way.
