Klidonia or Kleidonia (Greek: Κλειδωνιά), accented forms: Klidoniá or Kleidoniá, is a settlement in the Ioannina Prefecture in Epirus, Greece. It is in the municipality of Konitsa. Its 2001 population was 12 for the village.

Two prehistoric locations which are founded near Klidonia had reported until today:

In these two cated archaeological remains which dates back to the human presence in the area between 20,000 and 12,000 years ago, in the later period of the Paleolithic Era in Greece.

[edit] Ottoman to the Present Era

Klidonia was ruled by the Ottoman Turks until the Balkan Wars and annexed in 1913. After World War II and the Greek Civil War, its buildings were rebuilt and emigration occurred at a higher rate until 1981 through to 1991, when the population decreased, it lost half yet again. Agrambela became connected with asphalt in the 1960smid to late 20th century. more pavement was available in recent years. Electricity, radio and automobiles were introduced in the mid-20th century, television in the late-20th century and computer and internet at the turn of the millennium. In the late-1990s, the ex-community (now a village and a municipal district) joined to become the newly formed municipality of Aroania.

Klidonia has a school, a church, a square (plateia). Its nearest school, gymnasium (middle school), lyceum (secondary school) are in Konitsa.
