KIXW is a Clear Channel/Fox News Radio affiliate based in Victorville broadcasting on 960 AM (also known locally as "Talk 960"; the station was a long-time CBS Radio affiliate for many years). The station is affiliated with Talk Radio Network but also carries The Rush Limbaugh Show and Coast to Coast AM.

It is also the radio station that carries the High Desert Mavericks of the California League (Minor League Baseball).[1]

[edit] Barb Stanton

Until recently, it had its own locally-based talk-show, "The Barb Stanton Show", which first went on-air in late 2003, but was suddenly cancelled in mid-May 2007 after Ms. Stanton lashed out at the proposed massive influx of Asian-Americans into the Victor Valley (later proved to be unfounded) when she found out that a Victorville-based bank was about to be bought out by Pasadena-based EastWest Bank (owned by Dominic Ng, a third-generation Asian-American resident of Pasadena). Stanton is now at KCAA.
