Kivier is a name derived from Ivan Zapanta's first name and from his friend's first name, Kier Bryan Eugenio.

Kivier before was not just Kivier. It was also "kivier_van" before. Ivan Zapanta, the inventor of the name Kivier, thought that it would be unfair if most of the letters from Kivier were from Kier. He then added up the "_van" after Kivier so that it would be fair for both Ivan and Kier. It was now then were "kivier_van" It was used before as an e-mail address at Hotmail, but soon has expired. It was then used as a new e-mail address at Yahoo Mail as "kivier". Ivan Zapanta removed the "_van" because he thinks that it would be too long if the "_van" were included.

Ivan Zapanta was a student of Little Jewels Christian School, Taytay United Methodist Christian School, and now studies at Harris Memorial College. Ivan Zapanta invented the name Kivier when he and his friend Kier were talking with each other and decided to combine their names. This is a silly thought from the fusion technique of the Dragon Ball anime series.

Ivan Earl B. Zapanta was born on July 5, 1992. He is the second and last son of Edgardo Allan R. Zapanta and Arlene B. Zapanta (formerly known as Arlene S. Belen). He has a brother named Mark Anthony B. Zapanta, which is the mortal enemy of Ivan in their rented home apartment. Ivan Zapanta studied on Little Jewels Christian School for 9 years from nursery to Grade 6. He then studied at Taytay United Methodist Christian School on his first year of high school. He encountered a near experience of molestation with an elementary gay teacher so he decided to leave the school and transferred to his present school, Harris Memorial College to the present.

On his third year of high school, his school received an invitation from Informatics Brickroad to join their HUMAN IT FASHION contest. The school first chose a different student to join the contest, but their first representative encountered a problem so they need to choose a different representative from the school. Their second choice is Ivan Zapanta, whom agreed to join the fashion contest. Ivan and his model partner won the contest last December 4, 2007 and both won a 4 year scholarship grant from Informatics Brickroad. Their costumes were made of computer materials that turned out into what looked like Mark Anthony and Cleopatra.[1]

Ivan Zapanta was once a main character in their school play Joseph the Dreamer last March 2007 as the character of Jacob, the father of Joseph. He even made/starred on his 3 documentaries/movie projects. You Are The One[2], in which he is an extra; Chef Bobo[3], in which he is the stupid host; and Undecided Love[4], in which he is the main character.

He now lives with a normal life and will soon be performing a school play and will be starring it next week.
