Talk:Kit Kittredge: An American Girl
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Is there any way I can change this to be called "Kit Kittredge: An American Girl Mystery"? Thanks, Mollybrown95 00:51, 4 May 2007 (UTC)mollybrown95
- Done. To move a page click on the move button (between the "history" button and the "watch" button), and follow the instructions. Quadparty 04:17, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Source Citations Needed
To ALL future editors - I've attempted to update some of the source citations needed for this article, but more are still outstanding. I managed to find one article on Variety's website pertaining to the movie, and also the IMDB page is listed.
The main issue with this article is unsourced statements. When it was created, and through the editing process, no one bothered to create a "References" section, or add ref tags to the text. I've taken care of that, so each reference that is now cited will show up.
I stumbled on this article after watching two of the "American Girl" movies on the Hallmark channel this evening. (I just happened to walk in the room while my wife was watching, and got interested!) Clicking through from those to this one, ended me up here... Edit Centric (talk) 08:57, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- Limetolime-I'm concerned with the "Contrary to popular opinion" statement not being sourced. Not so much the cast list, or who will or won't be portraying which character. It's the way the paragraph STARTS that begs a reference. Otherwise, it's simply unsourced, and comes across as POV Edit Centric (talk) 00:05, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Infobox Created
Forward motion! I did the infobox add for this one, the info should be good to go. (I also corrected the cast entry for the character of "Countee", this will be portrayed by Willow Smith, NOT Will Smith. (It's actually his daughter that will be in the part.) [edit] Kits Movie title
Why did they change the movie title to Kit Kittredge:An American Girl Mystery to Kit Kittredge An American Girl? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.80.106.105 (talk) 16:31, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
- Wild guess (I know literally nothing about this movie): All the other ones were names "xxxx: An American Girl". J.delanoygabsadds 16:32, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
- No - that's not it. The First was Samantha: An American Girl Holiday, followed by Felicity: An American Girl Adventure, then Molly: An American Girl on the Home Front. My guess would be that it's because it's a theatrical release, and they want to make sure people know what it's about... Quadparty (talk) 20:37, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
Yeah but it sounded a lot better the first time. But that`s just my opinion about it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.80.106.105 (talk) 21:18, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
