Kit Premier League is the top division of the Football Federation of Sri Lanka.

- Segment A consists of the top-10 teams of 2005/06 (top-8 of Segment A and top-2 of Segment B)
- Segment B contains the bottom-6 (bottom-2 of Segment A and teams 3-6 from Segment B and the 2 promoted clubs);
- from Segment A the top-3 qualify for the 'Champions of Champions Knock-Out' along with the winners of Segment B
