America is fading on an intellectual level. Those who will be the next leaders and rulers of this falling nation are, frankly, disappointing.

However, there is still hope: both for this nation and its youth. This hope stems from the children I refer to as Intellectuals - those who put forth effort into succeeding on an academic level. These Intellectuals possess a logical mind and a capacity for rational thought, and have an impressive degree of self-control. Intellectuals are often introverts, but enjoy the company of other Intellectuals. These Intellectuals have great potential and are much more mentally mature than others their age. Perhaps this does not apply to all Intellectuals, but I personally tend to be contemptuous of those who are unintelligent (mostly Proles, as I will discuss later), and consider then inferior.

No good deed goes unpunished. As well as the Intellectuals, there are the Proles (taken from 1984; proletarians). I use this term not to refer to their socioeconomic status, but to their sophistication and intelligence.

Proles can be effectively subdivided into smaller categories. First is Category A: the worst of them all. Those in Category A are extremely unintelligent and dull, and focus mainly on sports and relationships. These people are extroverts, and do not have the mental capacity to look ahead to the future: they are focused on the present. To quote Frank Herbert's novel Dune:

animal consciousness does not extend beyond the given moment nor into the idea that its victims may become extinct . . . the animal destroys and does not produce . . . animal pleasures remain close to sensation levels and avoid the perceptual

Those in Category A fit this description; they burden the Intellectuals with work, and profit through this. It is merely through the suffering of the Intellectual class that these animals survive in our society. Intellectuals are burdened with ethics and morals; they have not yet realized that it is but all too easy to take control. However, as long as they do not, those in Category A will drag down society.

In short: those in Category A are, as the saying goes, stupid jocks.

Next is Category B: those who are merely of average intelligence. Those in Category B are usually friends of both the Intellectuals and those in Category A. These people are irrelevant; they are a burden to the Intellectuals, but do not matter much in the long run.

Category C: those with higher than average intelligence. At times, the intelligence of a person in Category C may even approach the analytical skills of an Intellectual; these people have amazing potential, and may even become an Intellectual with education and conditioning. They have a capacity for rational thinking, but still rely in Intellectuals. Also, these people have a tendency to play a sport casually.

I could divide these subcategories into even smaller subcategories, and perhaps add some new categories; however, that would be far too time-consuming.

Solution: Purify the genepool. Enslave Category A and allow the Intellectuals to lead. Enforce a intelligence-based caste system, with frequent testing. Category A must be slowly eliminated. The number of Intellectuals must grow. We must strive to make the next generation better than the current; therefore, Intellectuals will only be permitted to mate with another Intellectual. Those in Category A may only mate with one other person in Category A permanently, and may only have one child.
