Kirk Langley is a village in Derbyshire. The village is four miles north of Derby and two miles south east of Brailsford on the A52 road. There are in fact two villages: Kirk Langley and Meynell Langley.

The Meynell family have held land here since Henry I.[1] In 1545, the local church of St Michael was nearly destroyed in a tempest.[2]

The village has a Church of England primary school[3] which has about fifty pupils.
