Kirill Florensky

Kirill Pavlovich Florensky (December 27, 1915—April 9, 1982) was a Russian Soviet geologist and astronomer. He was head of Comparative Planetology at the Vernadsky Institute of the U. S. S. R. Academy of Sciences[1].
Florensky crater, on the Moon, is named after him.
