Category talk:Kipchaks
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Why is this category a sbucategory to Category:History of Hungary when it mostly deals with Egyptian sultans? Actually, out of the 17 articles here, about 2 has something to do with Hungarian history (Tatars and Cumans). Alensha 13:56, 12 September 2005 (UTC)
- Because the Kipchaks/Cumans were intimately involved in the history of Hungary. the fact that some of the Mamluk sultans were also kipchaks doesn't make the tribal group any less a part of Hungarian history.
