[edit] Māori
Hey. Do you realize that you deleted this paragraph with your addition? Feel free to try again; consider using the preview and compare version buttons. Thanks. El_C 20:11, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
Hi. When deleting/reducing large amounts of text, the polite thing to do is put a note on the talk page saying why you have made the changes. Where a page is obviously of interest to many people (the history and discussion pages should give you some idea) it is a good idea to suggest the change beforehand, wait a few days and then make it if no one has objected. Regarding your last two edits of the Māori page, I've retained the first one (on orthography) since it was a decent summary of the pre-existing text, but reversed the second one (on definitions) because you cut out quite a lot of information and didn't replace it with anything especially informative. If you have a problem with the paragraph you removed, please explain it on the discussion page and everyone involved with the page can come to some agreement. --Helenalex 03:49, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
