[edit] Need to Expand

Good to see someone is / was translating the spanish page, which appears to be quite large. For a kingdom of it's size and importance, I'm suprised it was this short - and consequently it needs to be dramatically expanded. Orchid Righteous 17:25, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Coar of arms picture

I personally think that shine doesn't belong to coat of arms. I tjust looks too modern on a such old fashioned thing.

[edit] Need to Merge with Crown of Castile

The two do need to be merged, but the rest of the crown of Castile article needs to be translated first as there is lots of info in the Spanish one and it would be easier just to translate it and merge the two in English later than try to translate and adapt the Spanish article! They don´t need to be merged: the Crown of Castile is the union of several kingdoms and appeared in the 13th century, while the kingdom of Castile started in the 11th century. They represent different entities and different historical moments. --Garcilaso 12:34, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

Cool, well lets get rid of the thing suggesting to merge them then! Jonny1047 18:58, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The translation process: finished?

So, is anyone translating this article any more? Or should the tag be taken down? If you look at the history, you can see it's been pretty quiet for a while now. --ざくら 17:53, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Contradiction in need of fixing

On the country template on the top-right of the page, Castile is described as having existed from 850 – 1479. However, in the history section of the article, there is an sub-heading for the 16th century, over 20 years after Castile was originally said to have collapsed. Furthermore, the entry on that sub-header only describes events in the 15th century. Either two conflicting sources are arguing on the page, or someone got overzealous with adding sub-sections.
