Talk:King of Rock and Roll

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I changed a couple instances of "Elvis" to "Presley" in the belief that this conforms with encyclopedic style. This might be a special case though, since Elvis was well-known under simply his first name. I checked the Elvis Presley article to see if there's any preference there, but there is no consistent convention. (It uses "Presley", "Elvis", and "Elvis Presley" interchangeably.) Is there an agreed-upon convention for Elvis's name in Wikipedia? Honestly, I didn't want to shift through the entire Presley discussion haystack to find that needle, so I decided to go with his last name simply to make it consistent with references to Chuck Berry as "Berry" in this article.--Mbennardo 17:45, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

The EP article now consistently features "Presley".Rikstar 12:27, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] What the????

This article is absolutely atrocious, vastly POV, beyond anything anyone can expect Wikipedia to handle, and should've been automatically deleted on the day that it was created.UberCryxic 03:57, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
