The Kingsway Shopping Centre is the principal under-cover shopping centre in the city of Newport, South Wales in the United Kingdom. It is a large building on several levels and includes a range of high street shops and privately-owned boutiques. It is also home to the city's museum, art gallery and central library. The northern entrance is on John Frost Square, a Germanic-style shopping square.
The centre is currently undergoing a massive refurbishment and extension, in conjunction with the new Friars Walk mall. Estimated completion is near Christmas 2008 and the centre remains open during the refurbishment. [1]
