It is a dark urban fantasy set in London and interweaving the phenomenon of the rat king and the myth of The Pied Piper of Hamelin against an aesthetic of drum'n'bass jungle music.
[edit] Film, TV or theatrical adaptations
In 2003, Linkin Park DJ and Director Joseph Hahn was granted the exclusive rights to produce a film based on the novel. After writing began in mid-2004, not much is now known about the production of the title.
