Also, before posting articles on individuals such as local politicians, I suggest that you read Wikipedia:Notability for guidelines on who may be considered notable enough for a wiki articile, and who may not be. SmartGuy 14:56, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
I did read the guidlines and wrote what I thought was appropriate. I can find hundred's of other news articles - national news even - on him if you want and put those in there too, I just didn't want to make it too incredibly long. I know that he has been on several national news shows, as well. Also, there are plenty of other lawyers on Wikipedia such as Fred Levin. Why is Fred Levin's page okay, but Jim Wilkes' is not? - Hmm, okay. Try it again then - if there is something of national/strong regional/worldwide interest about him then definitely include that. If you do recreate the article then I suggest that you put some kind of comment/explanation on the article talk page explaining as much. Again, "notability" is a grey area. Give it another go.
- On another note, I see that you seem to be interested in articles about law. I found a wikiproject here at Wikipedia:WikiProject Law - I know nothing about it but it may interest you. SmartGuy 05:44, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
