"Kim the Waitress" is a song from the mid 1980s from the group Green Pajamas. The song has an edgy guitar and sitar use that is similar to The Beatles use of Indian instruments. The song itself is of a shy boy writing poetry in a coffeehouse where a slim attractive waitress Kim who he has a crush on works. The song enjoyed large airplay on college Radio in the 1980s.
