Kim Paffenroth

Kim Paffenroth is a contemporary American horror author, best known for his Bram Stoker Award-winning book Gospel of the Living Dead: George Romero’s Visions of Hell on Earth.

Kim Paffenroth was born in 1966 in Syosset, New York. He attended Broad Run High School and Los Alamos High School. He went on to receive degrees from St. John's College in Annapolis, Maryland, Harvard Divinity School, and The University of Notre Dame. After teaching at Villanova University, Paffenroth has since been an Associate Professor of Religious Studies at Iona College. He is the author of numerous books on the Bible and theology. His book Gospel of the Living Dead: George Romero’s Visions of Hell on Earth (Baylor, 2006) won the Bram Stoker Award in the non-fiction category.[1]

His first novel, Dying to Live, is available from Permuted Press.
