Kim Newport was a singer who toured the Irish ballrooms between 1978 and 1990.
She appeared on Ireland's RTE television network 10 times and was selected by the Northwestern Health Board to be the spokesperson for their 1979 "Stop Think" anti-drink campaign. Her band included Gerry Gallagher, Dick Lynott, Joe Foley, Seamie McGowan, James Blennerhassett, Seanie Ryan, Brian Mullin, Paul Hamilton and Michael Gallagher during its 5 plus year history.Web Site www.kimnewport.com
