Kim Geun Tae (김근태,hanja:金槿泰) (born February 14, 1947, Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do) is a politician and the former leader of Uri Party in South Korea and the former head of Ministry of Health and Welfare.

He has been a politician since 1996 as a congressman.

In 1987, he shared the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award with fellow South Korean In Jae Keun.
