[edit] POV Issues
I placed a POV check tag on this article. From what I could gather from the sources cited at the bottom of the article, the pamphlet in question did not merely criticize school policies. It also included one student fantasizing about killing the principal, teachers, and fellow students. An editor familiar with the original pamphlet needs to edit this article to better reflect its contents and explain why authorities might legitimately be concerned.--FreeKresge 02:24, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Pamphlet
Anyone know of a link where a Copy of the "First Ammendment" can be found? I followed the link to a site hosted by one of the nine but the pics were deleted. I can't find a pic anywhere!!! Even all the major newspapers like miami herald are useless because the all seem to delete pics in articles when they go into the archives. If someone has one of the originals and wants to post a scan or has a pic by all means send me the link at Huntertav@yahoo.com

[edit] Adding Citations
In response to the criticism, I have added a description of the controversial elements of the pamphlet. Unfortunately, more detailed sources, such as the Miami Herald archives, are not available on the free web. I cannot find a copy of the pamphlet itself online. I remember it had other material that might be worth describing, but I cannot find a detailed description of it. Danqueray (talk) 18:50, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
I represented one of the students in the case. I will look back in my files to see if I can locate the pamphlet.
As as aside, there were numerous articles and drawings in the pamphlet un-related to the "hate crime" allegation.
