Killola is a four-piece American rock band from Los Angeles consisting of Lisa Rieffel (lead vocals), Mike Ball, (guitar), Dan Grody (drums) and Johnny Dunn (bass). The band's varied musical style is primarily 'Garage Pop' with punk and pop/electronica influences. Many of their songs make integrated use of layered vocal harmonies and synthesizers. The band possesses a notable DIY work ethic, and maintains a widespread, global fanbase thanks to heavy internet presence.

The group formed in 2003, and their first album "Louder, Louder!" was released in January 2006. Their second studio album "I Am The Messer" released in April 2008. In addition to being released on CD, the band distributed the album on limited edition 256 MB USB flash drive wristbands.

In May of 2007, the band released a limited-print 7" single in England, via Kerascene Recordings. They performed 10 shows in 10 days throughout England. The band self-booked the entire tour through Myspace.

Killola often present their media in the form of free-downloads, on social-networking sites like Last.fm, Virb.com, and Myspace. In February 2008, the band announced in Alternative Press that all fans with Killola tattoos would be allowed into the band's shows for free, for life, resulting in dozens of band-related fan tattoos, worldwide.

In September 2007, Rieffel and Dunn began hosting a weekly internet music/talk show on Spread Radio Live, a non-FCC regulated web-based radio station founded by Dave Navarro. The popular show broadcasts live on Monday nights at 8PM (PST). "The Lisa and Johnny Show" mixes an eclectic playlist (pulled from their own collection of CDs) with often rambling and humorous conversations, on-air prank calls and interviews with guests from the entertainment industry. Fans and listeners interact live during the show via web-chat.
