Talk:Kid's Story

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Does anyone know if the Michael Karl Popper in Kid's Story is a reference to Karl Popper, the philosopher? I was wondering because the Wachowski brothers have a way of hiding philosophical topics in characters' names (Soren, et al.) If this is in fact a reference, does anyone think that there should be a link between the two?

In the light of Karl Popper's falsifiability contemplations, and the questions The Kid asks, its an intriguing question. I believe there definitely is a link.

I'm also wondering if The Kid is also the boy who unlocks the third gate in Revolutions, you know, the boy who has to reload the mechs.

Yes, that is Kid. He is seen in Reloaded trying to convince the Neb's crew for him to join, then states that Neo saved him, to which Neo responds "You saved yourself." Later, he did open the gate necessary for the Mjolnir to squeeze through and activate their EMP.
Yes, I think he also backs this up in The Matrix Online.--Viridis 01:42, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
