For the purposes of criticism and comment on the band Radiohead. It is intended, in the context of scholarship, to inform the reader of the sound of Radiohead while not displacing the original product. This sample illustrates the electronic influences on the Kid A album. The vocal distortion of Thom Yorke's voice is also clearly audible. As the title track of the album, much has been written about the song, and it is necessary to include this sample in the Kid A article to assist the reader's understanding of the detailed discussion of its musical style. |
