[edit] The corpse of an executed man
I'm a little confused by the mention of impalement in this section. I'm not a theologian, nor am I fluent in Hebrew, but I can't find a single translation that interprets על-עץ as impalement. ”Hanging on a tree” could describe impalement, but it could also describe crucifixion and I just don`t think the original text is that specific.
