His parents are from Hazarajan of Afghanistan -- —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Unknown Master (talkcontribs) . 00:56, June 12, 2006

Do you have any source for the info about Azizi getting married again and divorcing? It's the first time I have heard of it. Nokhodi 06:16, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

I believe Azizi is a Hazara and not Iranian at all. Someone told me he was actually born in the Pakistani city of Quetta where there is a large Hazara community.

I'd hate to add this info without citation.

Ghazan, none of that is true. While Azizi's appearance may make him seem similiar to a Hazara, I think he's actually a Turkmen (Not 100% about this though). He is born in Iran though. He has a very strong attachment to Mashhad in Iran. He was born in a small town very close to it. His 1996 Asian player of the year trophy is in Imam Reza's Mosque as well.

I believe with the absence of citations, speculation about him coming from Hazarajat should be omitted.
