[edit] Re:Can you use the proper English
What? I use good English. The only reason I don't appear to use "proper English" is because I make uncontrollable typo errors and that happens against my will. And how does it considered as rude? - Two hundred percent 01:48, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- On another note, you are aware that you are using "the" to refer to "proper English"? That's grammatically incorrect, isn't it? - Two hundred percent 01:49, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] My memories are endless (Part one)
Hello, I am Khairul Hazim and I have some memories to share with you all. Some are from the mid and late 1990s and some from 2000s. These are true stories.
First, I would like to invite young generations to read my memories written in this discussion. This is important to me ,recalling the things of the past, around a decade ago.
To find out more, read my comments tomorrow. Khairul hazim 14:27, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] My memories are endless (part 2)
My first memories ....
1. 'Rancangan Seterusnya SEBENTAR LAGI''''Bold text
That was the slide used in the 1990s by [Radio Televisyen Malaysia]. It means "The Next Programme FOLLOWS SHORTLY". The slide was use when there is a problem .The slide has a background of rectangles and mixed colours of red and pink. In 2000, the slide changed to a new look, a collection of programme slides from two channels on a film strip. Today, the slide in now named as "KEMBALI SELEPAS INI...", as it used since the rebranding excersise.
2. Another slide of the 1990s ( used by Radio Televisyen Malaysia, it has a cake and sweets. It says do not eat sweets and cakes to much because it is high in colestorol.
3. The TV3 ident in the late 1990s, is simillar to Channel Ten in Australia -1994. The TV3 ident starts with a TV screen forming, then the the three colours of TV3 (blue, yellow and red) shooting out from the screen. It has a view of Kuala Lumpur - Menara Kuala Lumpur and the Parliament building and then the flag of Malaysia, Jalur Gemilang is shown. Then it zooms to red and white strips, then it will form to TV3 logo and the slogan "BERITA TERKINI, HIBURAN SENSASI". The "TV Tiga" song is aired at the very end.
Those of you who can recall this pls give your comments.I will be back later with more memories then.Goodbye!
[edit] My memories are endless (part 3)
Announcement :Muslims does not celebrate April Fools!
Welcome back. I hope you enjoy the memories that I share wiith all of you ! Now here are another series of my memories:
1. Clocks. I want to share how the TV3 clock looks like in the 1990's. The sponsors for the TV3 News clock bulletins are as follows:
a. Standard Charted Bank. (Late 1990's until July 2000)
b. Bumiputra-Commerce Bank. (July 2000 until 2006)
c. CIMB Bank. Bank on us to see beyond. (Since 2006)
My question is when does the TV3 clock was firsr shown? Was it after moving to Sri Pentas? Anyone knows outthere?
2. Public information advertisement in the 1990s - I remember there was 3.
a. Diabetic - It starts with a B&W shot over black band at the up and down - A lot of people was having dinner and it ends with a small family - a father, a mother and a child. They were jogging. Then goes with a logo surrounding over the white background. Then, Utamakan Kesihatan logo with the Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia. The UK logo (please, no confusion with British) is so scary out there. The music is scary at the very end of the diabetis. I am also remember a brief at very end of all MfTM ads which said "Tunggang Dengan Cermat. (then a click showing a green colour rope) Ingatlah Orang Yang Tersayang". Then a brief look at the Emblem of Malaysia with showing, "Kementerian Pengangkutan Malaysia", over a white background.
3. I felt scared when I recalled these memories. Don't leave your child alone. It was a public information advertisement in the 90s (1999).
a) A baby was playing with his toys. The baby took some pills (medicine). He thought it was colourful chocolates . The baby ate it.
b) The baby went to the kitchen, He touched the kettle. He thought it was a train . It sounds like the toy train series [Thomas and Friends].
c) The baby hold the spoons and forks. The baby thought it was a toy and plays with it.
d) The baby goes to the bathroom and play with water.
e) The last scene was the baby goes outside. No one is monitoring him. It was too late!A car is coming towards him.
A 1999 Health and Safety Campaign while the second is the Utamakan Kesihatan logo, * Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia* written at the third over the white background. Almost all these advert was written in Bahasa Melayu.
There are two versions: Malay language background and English background . That was frightening isn't it ?
All these are from my memories. If you have any memories to share or any comment, please write to me with your name and email. I will reply to you.
And one last thing, it is my mum's birthday today. My mother's name is Hidayati Basri. Goodbye and don't celebrate April Fools!
[edit] My memories are endless (Part four)
Sorry everyone cause I have a 3-days break .
It was a comedy series called "Pi Mai Pi Mai Tang Tu" which was set up in a Malay restaurant at Rumah Pangsa Sri Wangi.I don't really follow it but what I recall was at the end of the slot there will be this announcement: "Rancangan ini telah divideokan di hadapan penonton di Studio Cinematic" (This programme has been video taped in front of live audience at Studio Cinematic)
Do you know when it was first aired? Do you know that they use recorded laugh tracks or live laugh tracks from the audiences? Where is the Studio Cinematic located?
If you have any comments or memories you want to share, please send to me. Good bye.Khairul hazim 22:53, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Happy Birthday!
Happy thirteenth Birthday, Khairul hazim! It is just so coincidental, you know, I was looking at my watchlist, then I saw an edit made by you, then after that I went to your userpage and ironically, it is your birthday today. Well, I may be a bit too late, so I'm sorry for that.
I hope you will be blessed with good luck and prosperity in the future.
Plus, I'm sorry if I was a bit of a busy body, but I added your name voluntarily into the calendar in the Birthday Committee so that people would be aware that today, August 23 is your birthday. You may remove it (or you can ask me to remove it; in my talk page) if you are unhappy with the action I just took. Thank you. Acs4b T C U 10:04, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] RE: Thank you
You're most welcome. And of course we can be friends! I was just going to ask you to be my friend yesterday, but I thought, I shouldn't be such as busy body. Oh, and regarding the problem that your English is not as good as mine, it doesn't matter. Its ok, I can still chat with you in Simple English or in Bahasa Melayu (however, I think we should only use BM in the Malay Wikipedia). Acs4b T C U 04:55, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
