Khanzada Khan

Haji Khanzada Khan is a politician belonging to the Pakistan Peoples Party. He has twice contested elections for the National Assembly of Pakistan from his native constituency of Mardan district in NWFP, Pakistan, one of which he won in 1993. He was a member of Parliament till 1996 when the government of Benazir Bhutto was removed by the then President Farooq Leghari. During that time he was also appointed as the Parliamentary Secretary for Ministry of Kashmir Affairs. However, he did not contest any elections after that and rather improved his standing within the party and gave way to other low ranking members. He is also famous for his social work.
Mr. Khan is a very strong member of the Pakistan Peoples Party and is also on the Central Executive Committee of the party. He is very close friend of Benazir Bhutto and is considered a PPP stalwart. He is also involved in giving out party tickets to politicians aspiring to become members of the Parliament.
