A tag has been placed on Snooze buttons requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

Hi, Welcome to Wikipedia. There is nothing against articles about bands. However, there are guidelines for such articles as outlined in WP:BAND. In short you band has to be Notable and you cannot write about yourself. Your band does not appear to be notable and you are writing about yourself, thus it was deleted. If your band becomes popular enough, other people will pick up the task of creating an article about it. So till that time, there is nothing I can do or say to help you create an article that will survive the policies set by Wikipedia. It's nothing personal, and there are good reasons for those policies. One being that, if pages were not checked this place would be a jungle of advertising and other information which is of no use to anyone. Andante1980 11:52, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Kaan Bulak from the band Snooze Buttons. I just thought I'll write some information about the band, though i don't understand why that info should be deleted. I am the founder of the band, so I have the rights for the band. Can someone help me?

Hi Kfuzzk. Wikipedia has lots of articles on bands and many other things, but all such articles must be on notable topics because Wikipedia is an encyclopedia (which means it is not many things). Notable here means the subject of the article has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. That's the general notability criteria. There is a specific criteria for bands: Wikipedia:Notability (music), As you can see, it repeats the general criteria and provides various other criteria to look to. The band you wrote about does not appear to meet any of these criteria.

With that background in place, the speedy deletion criteria provide various bases under which articles can be deleted without debate. One of those criteria ("A7") provides that articles about people, bands, companies, etc. can be speedily deleted if they do not assert importance. I saw no assertion of importance in your article. What the band appears to be is a new, unsigned band having a self-released album. That is not a criticism. Every band was unknown and unwritten about at one time. However, that does not mean that your band can have an encyclopedia article. You should also be aware of our general prohibition on people writing articles about themselves and their projects. If a subject is notable, some third party, not having a conflict of interest, should eventually write an article about the subject. You are far too close to the subject to write the article from a neutral point of view (another policy requirement).

All this is to say that I hope you aren't too discouraged by this, but the article does not appear to an appropriate topic for Wikipedia—at least not at this time. If the band gains fame and others write about it in reliable sources, then those sources can be used to write the article. I know I've thrown a lot of links at you, but there's one more you might check out for a better understanding and which speaks to this point. Because an encyclopedia synthesizes already publshed sources (since it is by definition a tertiary source), articles must not be publishers of original thought.
