[edit] Banana
Hi Kevin Joseph Scott 101
The article you created wasn't very encyclopedic in tone - it appeared to be original research which we don't allow. It also appeared to be a copy-and-paste from somewhere else - using self-referential language like "This report...".
Besides that, however, I think I see now what you're trying to do. Yes, Banana is the ideal place for your addition, but that article suffers (for some reason) from lots of childish vandalism. So it is protected against new users. I'm sorry that you got caught in this.
However, your account should stop being a "new" account shortly (if it hasn't already) and you can then add your paragraph to the article.
To do this, find a convenient part in the article to insert your information, giving it a ==Header== with a short, sensible name. Then add your text. You can add inline references like this:
- <ref>Surname, Firstname; Name of publication or URL; Date of publication; Date of access</ref>
This shows up in the article as a tiny blue number, and automagically expands out in the footnotes of the article.
If any of this is doubledutch, you can always post your text to the article talk page and ask advice for formatting, referencing and positioning in the article itself.
Have a look at the links in the welcome message at the top of this article for more information, or give me a shout on my talk page for more help. ➔ This is REDVEЯS 09:40, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
