[edit] Headings

I noticed you capitalized all the headings in the Green Bay Packers article. Please note that according to the manual of style for Wikipedia: "Capitalize the first letter only of the first word and of any proper nouns in a heading, and leave all of the other letters in lowercase." I changed the GBP article back. --mtz206 22:25, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Copyrights

The images you are uploading off of team websites are against copyright. Please see WP:C on Wikipedia's policy on copyrighted images. Thank you.++aviper2k7++ 02:07, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Removing messages from your talk page

Hi, just writing to let you know that it's not okay to remove messages from your talk page. You're welcome to archive it when necessary, but not delete. If you have further questions, look at WP:TPG, or respond here, I may be able to help you. Thanks! --King Bee 02:30, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to blank pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --King Bee 12:18, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
No where in the guidelines of user talk pages does it say why I can not blank my page or explain the "damage" I am doing to Wikipedia. Until there is an explanation on that page I will continue to do so. Furthermore, it specifically says that they are guidelines, not rules, and that they are not set in stone. Guidelines do not equal rules. It says "should follow" not "must follow". I suggest that if you actually want this "guideline enforced" that the ambiguity of the explanation be removed. Saying something "should be done" does not imply that it is required. Please cease with your threats until the guidelines are fully explained and all ambiguity is removed.--Kevin82485 12:24, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
Then I ask: do you have a reason for blanking your page? I'd be happy to archive it for you, if you really don't feel like doing it. --King Bee 21:16, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
Because it is my talk page and the messages that were previously on there are now irrelevant. There is nothing left to discuss regarding those matters or I have nothing to say to them. I understand I was being reminded for copyright infringements and capitalization errors, but I have learned for those things, so I don't see point in leaving them on here when they have no relevance. --Kevin82485 4:08, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
It may be "your" talk page, but you don't own it. See Wikipedia:User_page#Ownership_and_editing_of_pages_in_the_user_space. Other people have contributed here, and this page belongs to the community. Just deleting everything here is against a guideline (yes, a guideline, not a mandatory rule) here at Wikipedia. As I said, archive the page if you wish. --King Bee 22:24, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:WilliamHenderson.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:WilliamHenderson.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] License tagging for Image:2k games.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:2k games.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 07:04, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Bubbafranks.jpg

Thank you for uploading Image:Bubbafranks.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. User:Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr) 23:33, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Hi, Image:NoahHerron.jpg is in the same situation. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. ×Meegs 05:37, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:The Calm Before The Storm - Front.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:The Calm Before The Storm - Front.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:40, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

=== Fair use in Tech N9ne ===
Though this image is subject to copyright, its use is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:
   # It illustrates educational articles about the album from which the cover illustration was taken.
   # The image is used as the primary means of visual identification of the article topic.
   # The use of the cover will not affect the value of the original work or limit the copyright holder's rights or ability to distribute the original. In particular, copies of the image could not be used to make illegal copies of the album artwork on another CD.
   # It is a low resolution image.
   # The image is only a small portion of the commercial product.
   # It is not replaceable with an uncopyrighted or freely copyrighted image of comparable educational value. -->Kevin82485 17:29, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image source problem with Image:2k games.JPG

Image Copyright problem

This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:2k games.JPG. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 10:09, 6 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner.
