Kevin Little

The Rev. Kevin C. Little is an ordained United Church of Canada minister in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

He ran for a seat in the Canadian House of Commons in his native Halifax, Nova Scotia in the 2000 federal election as a candidate of the Liberal Party. He ran in the riding of Halifax, where he finished a strong second to the then-New Democratic Party leader, Alexa McDonough. He lost with 33% of the vote to her 40%.

Mr. Little now serves St. Luke's United Church in Upper Tantallon, www.saintlukesunited.ca, a growing suburb of Halifax. In addition to this responsibility Mr. Little also volunteers and works at various inner-city missions.

Mr. Little supports a hybrid of political causes, having a long public record of service and advocacy for those below the poverty line, and at the same time opposing budget deficits.
