[edit] Playing career

He played for Bristol Rovers after being released by Newcastle United before moving to Yeovil Town where he played in midfield although he can also play as a striker. In an FA Cup match against Charlton Athletic, Gall ran half the pitch to set up a goal for Paul Terry (brother of England captain John Terry). Even though Yeovil lost that match 3-2, Gall received the Performance of the Round Award the following week.[1] Gall scored his first league goal for Carlisle United, against his former club Yeovil.

On 28 January 2008 he joined League Two side Darlington on a one-month loan. In March 2008 Gall had a trial with Major League Soccer club Toronto FC but wasn't offered a good enough contract so returned to Carlisle.
