Kesälahti

Kesälahti is a municipality of Finland.
It is located in the province of Eastern Finland and is part of the North Karelia region. The municipality has a population of 2,750 (2003) and covers an area of 582.67 km² of which 195.42 km² is water. The population density is 4.7 inhabitants per km².
The municipality is unilingually Finnish. The municipality has previously also been known as "Kesälax" in Swedish documents, but is today referred to as "Kesälahti" also in Swedish.[1]
