[edit] Reason for height
Kerinchi Pylon in opposite to other electricity pylons taller than 100 metres not a part of a powerline crossing of a strait or a wide river. According to Google Maps, the powerline mounted on it crosses just a motorway wherefor not such a tall pylon would be required.
