Kermit Van Every

Kermit Van Every was an aeronautical engineer who worked in the area of very high speed flight. He is noted mainly for designing the configuration of the Douglas Skyrocket[1] with Ed Heinemann. He also has the unusual honor of having won the Wright Brothers Medal twice, in 1948 and 1958.
