An autograph with a so-called ‘Klecksographie’ from Justinus Kerner (1786—1862), German physician and poet. Reproduced in fac simile in Robert Koenig, Deutsche Literaturgeschichte, 5th edition, Bielefeld/Leipzig 1879 (identical reprint of the third edition 1878/79), page 577. Scanned by Aristeas.

The text reads:

Aus Dintenfleken ganz gering / Entstand der schöne Schmetterling. / Zu solcher Wandlung ich empfehle / Gott meine flekenvolle Seele. Justinus Kerner
