[edit] Malaysian copyright

Hi, I noticed you uploaded two images, Image:Dbku-logo.jpg and Image:Mbks logo.jpg, with the {{Malaysiancopyright}} tag. The problem is, copyrighted images cannot be used in Wikipedia except under a claim of fair use. Please see Wikipedia:Fair use to determine whether these images can be used under a fair use rationale, and if so, please add the correct tag as well as a fair use rationale to the image description page. Dear Kennysia. You had change license for this image from initial {{GFDL}} to {{CopyrightedFreeUse-User}} in the past. The last license is not very suitable for Wikipedia now - could you define another specify the new license for this image? Alex Spade 20:22, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

Dear Alex Spade, why isn't the license suitable for Wikipedia? I took the photo myself and uploaded it. Can you perhaps suggest a new license that is better suited in this scenario? Kennysia 08:42, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
It will be better to redefine the terms of use more exactly with the help of real licenses, for example
  • {{PD-self}} - Public Domain (you allow modification and commercial using, but derivative works can be copyrighted by new authors)
  • {{GFDL}} - the basic license of Wiki (you allow modification and commercial using, description for derivative works must contain your name as first author, der.works must be GFDL also, and image can be used only in GFDL-projects)
  • {{Cc-by-sa}} - you allow modification and commercial using, description for derivative works must contain your name, der.works must be CC-BY-SA also, and image can be used more freely

Please clarify whether if you are Kenny Sia. If you are, I believe there is a substantial conflict of interest problem in your editing the article about yourself, unless it's for an undisputed factual clarification, and if you are not, I think it is advisable for you to change your user name under WP:U. --Nlu (talk) 17:40, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

I am indeed Kenny Sia. The portion of the Wikipedia article that I edited alleged that I am using a car accident to promote a mobile phone brand when there is absolutely zero evidence that I had done so.
