I believe that first example is not quite accurate.  The first kanji (賢) actually means 'clever', 'intelligent' as well as 'virtuous'. Furthermore no mention is made of the fact that the second kanji (三) in the first three examples is the number 3, most likely indicating that the person is the third born.
