Maybe this should be noted somehow, so people who want the original songs do not get tricked into buying the modernized stuff. Owners of both the 1978 LP and the 2001 CD, please LISTEN to The Gambler, and you will realize lots of rhythmic finesses are indeed different. Seems they put the 1991 versions on the CD. On the Through the Years - 20 Greatest Hits compilation - not to be confused with Twenty Greatest Hits, 1983, "Ruby" is original but the "Gambler" still sounds like the new version!
