I feel that this article is a stub- there ought to be rather more information on Keating's role as an agitator for United States action in the Cuban Missile Crisis (I got my information from "The Cuban Missile Crisis", editing and commentary by Robert A. Divine.) Keating, Divine alleges, frequently addressed the Senate regarding the state of armaments in Cuba, and argued that they were becoming a real threat of which the United States public ought to be informed.
