[edit] Moving this article

There was a request listed at WP:RM in the "Uncontroversial proposals" section to move this article to Kenna, on the grounds that that's the name this artist is known as best. However, Kenna is currently a disambiguation page, so it might make more sense to move this page to Kenna (musician), or something. Anyway, I delisted it, because the move wasn't straightforward enough to just complete, and it wasn't clear what to do without perhaps some discussion. -GTBacchus(talk) 07:29, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

Being the one who posted the requested move, obviously I feel it should be transfered. It does not need to be just "Kenna" by itself but I feel the "Zemedkun" needs to be dropped for searching purposes. Kenna (musician) would suffice just fine I feel. The Spooney One 10:02, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

Done. -GTBacchus(talk) 18:03, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
Much appreciated, thank you. The Spooney One 02:30, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
Kenna is his 'recording' name, and there is no article (only disambiguation) at 'Kenna' therefore this article should be there, and link to kenna (disambiguation) for other uses, none of which are called simply 'Kenna'.~ Bungalowbill 18:40, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] "hell bent"

When its video was shown on MTV, "hell bent" was written with all lowercase letters, yet on Kenna's page and the New Sacred Cow page, the H and B are capitalized. Does anyone know what the correct rendering is? -- Kicking222 18:00, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

I'm not sure either. Kenna is rather eccentric and he either types in all caps or all lower case. I would go by the album spelling but I don't have it on me right now. The Spooney One 02:24, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Face

is there no more news on a release date still?

the release date had been set for June 19, 2007. -no one hears life like soundboy 22:52, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Kenna2.jpg

Image:Kenna2.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The result of the proposal was No move; no evidence that the musician is the primary topic. Duja 11:35, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

  • Kenna was a disambiguation, so this, being an article, specifically about Kenna, should be there, and the disamb moved to K (disamb). ~ Bungalowbill
Oppose, unless there is any reason to think that this is the main use for "Kenna". Dekimasuよ! 05:42, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
  • Page Kenna is an 8-way disambig page, and unless Kenna (musician) becomes first-rate famous, much more than any of the other Kennas, Kenna may as well stay as a disambig page. Anthony Appleyard 10:36, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
