[edit] Notability

It is currently unclear whether this politician is notable enough for an article on Wikipedia, since no secondary sources are cited. Politicians on the county level (other than parliament members on a national level) are not automatically notable. By the notability criteria for biographies, independent reliable sources are required to make sure that the subject is notable. These sources might be, for example, significant press coverage about the person in relevant media (not only local), or an independent biography.

It may well be possible that such sources exist. However, currently no such sources are cited in the article. Please add such sources to establish notability.

For the time being, I am replacing the “importance” tag with “notability”. Sorted as part of the Notability wikiproject. --B. Wolterding 12:03, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
