"Read and his partners bought the small hill and are currently running it into the ground." Is this some ski term I'm unaware of, or just a needlessly libelous remark about Read's ability to manage a business?

[edit] You keep deleting pertinent facts

Facts: Read was a one event skier, not very highly regarded in international circles. Read was universally disliked by his team and coaches due to his large ego and shameless self promotion. Do your research. Read performed very poorly at the olympics, he finished sixth in one and wiped out after two gates in the other. you should not hide from these documented facts. Mt Norquay, read's ski hill was sanctioned by the Calgary Health Region in 2006 for providing poisonous drinking water to it's guests. this is a documented fact. This article needs major revisions including footnotes. It should also reflect that in the grand scheme of international ski racing, Read was a below average competitor that only skiied in one event. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.210.110.113 (talk) 10:27, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
