Kent M. Williams is a Democratic member of the South Carolina Senate, representing the 30th District since 2004.
On or around April 2nd 2008 Senator Kent called animal control and had his very pregnant German Shepherd picked up and taken to the shelter to be killed setting a poor example in a state where tens of thousands of animals are killed every year using taxpayer's money.
