Kent Events Center

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Kent Events Centre is a 6,025-seat, 153,000-square-foot multi-purpose arena in Kent, Washington, United States that is currently under construction. It is due to open in January 2009. Once completed, it will host the home games of the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League. It will eventually replace KeyArena as the club's new home.

The arena was supposed to be called the Amiga Center but Amiga failed to make a promised down payment, and lost the naming rights as of August of 2007.

The arena will be operated by SMG Management.
