[edit] Biography

In 1995, he joined the rock band Tempo Tantrum during the tour supporting the "Into The Realm" album. The band, Tempo Tantrum, grew to be very popular as a progressive metal alternative to the grunge music scene at the time. Mauch saw the band's greatest success in the European rock markets throughout the 1990s. The 1995 album, "Into The Realm", was featured on the German and Netherlands Metal 100 charts.

From 2003 through 2005, he also worked with a side project, Pyro Gel, in the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania area. The project took more of a classic rock turn, and he left in 2005 to pursue more of his metal roots.

In 2006, he started a new side project, Hell Muse, and has done limited recording due to other commitments.
