This is a photo taken of the bones of the Kennewick man. The copyright holder is most likely Stanford University [1]. The original photo can be found here [2].

There is no free alternative, and neither could one be created showing the same information. It is a small picture and low resolution and does not replace the original market role the picture may or may have has or had. The material has be published in many news articles covering the subject, and is encyclopedic meeting Wikipedia content guidelines. It meets the media-specific requirements and is used in one article. It shows the subject to better explain it in it's respective article. The picture is (and should remain) only used in it's namespace (Kennewick Man). it shows proper attribution to Stanford University.
