Kelvin Templeton (born September 30, 1956) is a former Australian rules footballer.

Templeton was recruited from Traralgon in 1974 by the Footscray FC. He led the league's goalkicking on two occasions and was the winner of the Brownlow Medal in 1980, becoming the first player who regularly played at Centre Half-Forward to win the award.

Despite Footscray finishing near the bottom of the VFL ladder in 1978, Templeton headed the goalkicking table for the season with 118, including a career-best performance of 15 goals against St Kilda on 1 July. Footscray kicked a then-record score of 213 points in this match.

After suffering an injury in the early 80s, he was cleared to play for Melbourne FC where he generally struggled to recapture his best form.

Later, he would become the CEO of the Sydney Swans as they started to become a power in the Australian Football League.

In 1980 Templeton covered the song 'Who's Sorry Now' for the album 'Footy Favourites' - a collection of songs sung by VFL players.
